OUR STORY

We’re not beauty scientists. We’re not K-beauty insiders with decades in the industry.

We’re just two people who fell in love with Korean skincare — and couldn’t understand why the rest of the world didn’t have access to the best of it.

A few years ago, one of us took a trip to Seoul. Not for beauty — just to travel. But somewhere between Myeongdong’s night markets and a tiny skincare shop tucked behind a subway exit, something shifted.

The products were different. Not just the formulas — the philosophy was different. Korean beauty wasn’t about covering up. It was about feeding your skin. Treating it. Making it genuinely healthier — so it glows on its own.

Coming home meant leaving that behind. And that felt wrong.

Back in the US, the options were limited. You could find a few K-beauty staples at Sephora. You could order from overseas and wait weeks. Or you could just — settle.

We kept coming back to the same frustration: the products that actually worked — the ones with real PDRN complexes, Salmon Collagen, Jeju fermented extracts — weren’t making it to American shelves. Or when they did, they came without the context, the routine, the story behind them.

We wanted to change that.

When we started thinking about where to begin, the answer kept coming back to one product category: the multi-use balm stick.
